    Authorities say 18 year-old Ross A. Arens was shot in the abdomen by his own weapon, while crossing a creek and handing his gun to another member of his hunting party. The Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the Plymouth Countyy Sheriff's department are still investigating the incident, but they believe it was an accident.
