Modesto police announced Monday they have arrested 41-year-old Anthony Brewer in the April 17 killing of Robbie Hull Jr. The Modesto Bee reports detectives had identified Brewer as a suspect in the death of the 55-year-old Hull and issued a warrant for his arrest.

    Authorities say an operating room technician at a Northern California medical center has been arrested on suspicion of molesting patients while they were sedated. Redwood City Police said Monday that Robert Lastinger is accused of sexually touching four anesthetized male patients at Stanford Health Care's outpatient facility between March 15 and April 2. Lastinger was taken into custody Monday and could face sexual battery charges.
