A press release issued Wednesday by the Red Bluff Police Department said officers responded for a welfare check at about 5:12 p.m. Tuesday on Scottsdale Way after a report the two had not been seen for some time and there was possibly a history of domestic violence at the residence.

    A man was arrested after he was allegedly found using a blowtorch on a propane tank at a Los Molinos church Saturday morning. Tehama County sheriff's deputies were called at 5:15 a.m. Saturday to the Los Molinos Methodist Church on Josephine Street, where they found Mark Boles, 51, using the torch on a 250-gallon propane tank, according to a press release.
