    The California Highway Patrol is seeking a driver who allegedly fled from a collision Monday at South Avenue and Hall Road that left four people injured including three of the unidentified driver's passengers. The second driver, Tommy Vang, 37, of Chico, was driving east on South Avenue southeast of Corning when the unidentified driver failed to stop at a stop sign and drove into the side of Vang's 2012 GMC Sierra pickup.

    The body of a man reported missing Wednesday was recovered from a pond west of Red Bluff Friday, victim of an apparent accidental drowning. Stefan Dekker, 35, was located about 11 a.m. Friday by a remotely operated vehicle from the pond on Red Bank Road where an overturned boat was found Wednesday afternoon.
