    Judge William Nelson Hall, Jr., a longtime Magisterial District Justice and former Reading policeman, died on Tuesday. He was 78. Hall was born in York in 1939 and moved to Reading when he was 30. He served as a Reading police officer for 23 years before becoming a Magisterial District Justice in 1993.
