    A babysitter told a 911 dispatcher that she heard a loud "pop" before she discovered an 11-year-old boy with a fatal gunshot wound Monday at a home in Streetsboro. The family friend did not immediately realize the boy had been shot when she called authorities to report the injury, according to a recording of the call released Tuesday by the Streetsboro Police Department.

    STREETSBORO, Ohio -- Police say a 13-year-old boy shot and killed his 11-year-old brother Monday night in what investigators are calling a "premeditated act." According to a news release from Streetsboro Police Chief Darin Powers, officers and emergency workers were called to a home on Alden Drive at 9:34 p.m. When they arrived, they found an 11-year-old boy with a gunshot wound.

    Ravenna police are investigating after a man tried to lure a child into his vehicle Wednesday as the child walked from school. A boy was walking home from Carlin Elementary School at 3:30 p.m. when a man in a white car approached him at the corner of North Freedom Street and Washington Avenue asked if he "wanted to get in the car for a ride," Ravenna police said.
