    A Randolph man was found guilty of first-degree murder on Monday for the stabbing death of a 78-year-old man who was defending his wife during an armed robbery of their Stoughton home, according to the Norfolk district attorney's office. John M. Rooney, 52, broke into the home of Georgios and Dorothea Kontsas in February 2010 and attacked Dorothea, demanding money, the office of District Attorney Michael W. Morrissey said in a statement.
