    The Odyssey of the Mind team at Summit Intermediate in Rancho Cucamonga, which includes seventh and eighth graders, competed at the Odyssey of the Mind Inland Empire Regional Tournament on March 3. They won a special award called the Ranatra Fusca Creativity award for tackling the theme of homelessness in their performance. One of the things the team did was engaged their entire school in a Supply Drive to gather toiletries and various supplies to donate to people affected by homelessness.

    Three Moreno Valley men were arrested Tuesday in Rancho Cucamonga and are under investigation for burglarizing four Walmart stores that day, including the last incident in which they ran from a Foothill Boulevard store with merchandise in their arms and fled in a red, older-model Buick. The theft at the Foothill Boulevard Walmart , was reported just after 3 p.m. after the men ran through the store's fire doors with the goods and left in the Buick.
