    Roy Lee Tolbert, 43, of Washington, D.C., was sentenced on Friday to 10 years in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release, for the armed robbery of a diamond store in Queenstown, Maryland. The sentence was announced by United States Attorney for the District of Maryland Rod J. Rosenstein; Special Agent Kevin Perkins of the Federal Bureau of Investigation; Colonel William M. Pallozzi, Superintendent of the Maryland State Police; Queen Anne's County Sheriff Gary Hofmann; and Queen Anne's County State's Attorney Lance G. Richardson.

    The one alarm fire brought 30 firefighters from the Kent Island and surrounding fire departments and took 10 minutes to control. Investigators said that during the initial fire department entry, crews located and removed a man and transported him to University of Maryland Shore Emergency Center in Queenstown where he was pronounced dead.
