    The News Tribune reports 18-year-old Sabrena Defreece was shot Tuesday morning at a friend's home while listening to music. Puyallup police say they were called to the house on the 900 block of 18th Avenue Southwest around 7 a.m. They say she was dead when they arrived.

    Puyallup police arrested a 57-year-old man for investigation of homicide Saturday night, after discovering the body of a woman who lived with him. Officers responding to a disturbance in the 400 block of Valley Ave. NE at around 11:30 p.m. were assured by the man that nothing was amiss.

Lyon was hospitalized on Aug. 19, after he and three other firefighters driving up a steep gravel road crashed down a 40-foot embankment, where they were overtaken by flames.
