    The Punxsutawney Area High School girls' basketball team will play Hampton on Saturday, March 5, at Clarion University at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the athletic office at the high school between 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The school receives a reimbursement of $1 on all adult tickets purchased in advance and 50 cents on each advanced student ticket sold. The cost of an adult ticket is $6.

Arthurs Memorial Library in Brookville held a thank-you party for students at Hickory Grove Elementary, who raised money for the library through a read-a-thon that lasted from Jan. 11 to Feb. 11.
