    Two suspects who have been connected to an arson incident at a DuBois warehouse building in January appeared for their preliminary hearings during Centralized Court on Friday. Zachary Thomas Coombs, 20, of Punxsutawney, and Timothy James Young, 19, of Kersey are facing multiple charges in connection to an arson incident at the Gibby's warehouse building at 40 N. Franklin St., DuBois, on Jan. 5. Coombs has been charged with arson, causing or risking a catastrophe, burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, recklessly endangering another person and criminal mischief.

It is bad enough that the Jefferson County trio is accused of engaging in drug-related activity in front of three young victims -- a 15-year-old, a six-month old, and a one-year-old, according to State Police based in Punxsutawney, Pa.

Franklin St., DuBois, Jan. 5. According to the affidavits, Coombs has been charged by the DuBois City police with arson, causing or risking a catastrophe, burglary, criminal trespass, theft by unlawful taking or disposition, recklessly endangering another person and two counts of criminal mischief.

    A 20-year-old Punxsutawney man and a 19-year-old Kersey man have been charged with arson and other related counts in connection with a DuBois fire that caused approximately $500,000 worth of damages to Gibby's Warehouse, according to a release on the Clearfield County District Attorney's website. William A. Shaw Jr., the Clearfield County DA, identified the defendants as Zachary Thomas Coombs, 20, of Big Run Prescottville Road, Punxsutawney, and Timothy James Young, 19, of Kersey.
