    Authorities said the superintendent of the Newberry County schools has died in a traffic wreck that also involved a car driven by a sheriff's deputy. County Coroner Craig Newton has identified the victim of the car wreck that occurred Saturday evening as 56-year-old Bennie Bennett of Prosperity.
