    A Princeton Police officer was honored at the city council meeting on Monday, July 20, for his recent actions in saving a resident's life. Police chief Tom Root commended Chris Gabrys for his actions and professionalism and announced he had earned the life-saving award for an incident that occurred on Sunday, May 10. “Gabrys is being commended for his action during a very tense and important call for service, and how his actions assisted in saving a life of a very distraught and depressed resident,” Root said.
