    On September 10 at 12:45 am, officers responded to the Hometown Drug pharmacy located in the 2500 Block of Gray Street for an alarm activation and subsequently discovered that the business had been burglarized. The preliminary investigation revealed that the lone offender forced entry into the business via a rear door that was concealed from view and removed currency and prescription medications before fleeing the scene.

'The preliminary investigation revealed that the female victim was about to exit her parked vehicle when the offender approached her from the rear drivers-side portion of the vehicle, placed a firearm to the back of her head and demanded her money,' Hopewell Police reported.
