    Around 35 homes made up of approximately than 60 people in Prenter have reportedly been without water since Tuesday Dec. 15. Boone County Administrator Jim Gore explained the Prenter area is dependent on a single well which, through the use of an electrical pump, distributes water to residents. Even under normal circumstances, the water in Prenter is not safe to consume; however, residents use the water for sanitary purposes.
