The boy, who was 7 years old at the time of the May 2015 incident, swatted the hand of an assistant who had pinched him as she strapped him into a seat on the bus.

The park is a wonderfully preserved example of a traditional passive recreational area from the 1930s transformed into a municipal park with a variety of dry, rolling, oak-hickory woods, sunny openings, trailside borders, fencerows, a near-pristine, shaded, trail-bordered shoreline, bushy thickets, and wetlands and long-time fishing lake.
