    St. Lawrence County sheriff's detectives have made two more arrests in connection with a long-term drug investigation known as “Operation 315.” Ginette C. Hess, 20, of 1202 Raquette Road, Potsdam, was arrested Thursday and charged with fourth-degree conspiracy, third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, all felonies. Ms. Hess was arraigned in St. Lawrence County Court and ordered held without bail in the St. Lawrence County jail, Canton.

At approximately 11 a.m. Sunday, a state police aviation unit helicopter spotted 39-year-old Ning Cai, an adjunct professor at SUNY Potsdam, and her two sons, ages 7 and 11, all of Potsdam, near the summit of Mount Marcy.
