    The Potsdam Central and Salmon River Central varsity boys basketball teams helped carry Section 10 to an 8-4 decision over their Section 7 counterparts in the 2015 Larry Cowan Memorial Challenge which concluded at the Beekmantown High School gym. The second day of the tournament followed a similar script as the first with the Sandstoners and the Shamrocks scoring wins along with Franklin Academy and Brushton-Moira while St. Lawrence Central and Tupper Lake both came up short.
