    Police Chief Mark Murray shared a quarterly report for the last part of 2017 at the village board of trustee meeting on Feb. 5. From Oct. 1 to Dec. 31, the village police responded to 1, 841 incidents, leading to a total of 284 arrests, including six felony, 52 misdemeanor, and 24 violation charges. The number of incidents and arrests were both down from the third quarter of 2017, although it was still higher than the fourth quarter of 2016.
