    A Kitsap Animal Control officer was seriously injured in an attack by a dog in Port Orchard on June 20. Ashley Keil had responded to a 911 call from a woman in Port Orchard, who was allegedly attacked and bitten by a large, stray dog, Kitdsap Humane Society reported. The woman was able to corral the dog into her garage, which is where Keil found the dog, described as a large gray and white husky.

    Eight agencies were involved in the apprehension of Ronald Lee Paulson, who is now about 70 and goes by the name Warron Big Eagle: Poulsbo Police Department; Kitsap County Prosecutor's Office; Kitsap County Special Assault Unit; Port Orchard Police Department; Kitsap County Sheriff's Office; Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma, Sheriff's Office; Great Falls, Montana, Sheriff's Office; and Kern County, California, Sheriff's Office. The message to suspects on the lam: "You're going to spend your whole life looking behind you," Poulsbo Deputy Police Chief Andy Pate said May 26. "At some point, [officers] are going to catch up to you."
