Lakewood native Rob Arps, left, the founder and CEO of Form 3D foundry in Portland, has collaborated with Port Orchard artist and sculptor Douglas Granum in digitally sculpting and printing 110 acrylic form pieces that will re-create Ivan the gorilla gazing at a magnolia blossom in a larger-than-life bronze sculpture that will reside at the entrance to Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium.
