    A Kitsap Animal Control officer was seriously injured in an attack by a dog in Port Orchard on June 20. Ashley Keil had responded to a 911 call from a woman in Port Orchard, who was allegedly attacked and bitten by a large, stray dog, Kitdsap Humane Society reported. The woman was able to corral the dog into her garage, which is where Keil found the dog, described as a large gray and white husky.
