Lapeer Street in the Village of Peck, and alerted the Peck School District, which had a building across the street. The district went into lockdown as deputies talked to the 31-year-old man, and took him into custody without incident.

The accident happened at 7:40 a.m. on Galbraith Line Road near Cribbins Road in Worth Township, police said. A Buick Regal driven by Karen Fletcher, 34, of Peck, was traveling eastbound on Galbraith Line Road when she crossed the center line and collided with a Chevrolet pickup traveling westbound, police said.
