The Port Angeles Fine Arts Center and Revitalize Port Angeles pooled their efforts and named Port Angeles resident Todd Fischer as the artist who will complete an outdoor themed mural on the tank, located adjacent to the Port Angeles Fine Arts Center at 1203 E. Lauridsen Boulevard.

The United Food and Commercial Workers International Local 367 says the Federal Trade Commission has approved the potential acquisition of the stores and that the two companies are finalizing the purchase agreement.

The Washington State Patrol says that 62-year old Thomas Lund of Chehalis was driving his Ford pick-up truck westbound on state route 101 when he failed to negotiate the curve and slid sideways into the eastbound lanes.
