    A head-on collision in Ponchatoula early Monday left one man dead and two others injured, the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office said. Michael Shawley Jr., 20, of Ponchatoula, was driving west on Traino Lane just before 5 a.m. Monday, when he sped into a curve and his 2015 Toyota Scion crossed the center line and struck an oncoming pickup truck, Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Dawn Panepinto said.

The system includes the main library in Amite and branches in Hammond, Independence, Loranger and Ponchatoula.
