Former reservist Gustavo Cervantes, 24, and his cousin, Rigoberto Cortez, 30, both of Pomona, each pleaded no contest to seven counts of identity theft and one count of grand theft, according to Deputy District Attorney Warren Kato.

    A 33-year-old woman who worked in a high school cafeteria in Claremont pleaded not guilty today to felony sex counts involving a male student. Vanessa Antonia Tinoco, of Pomona, is charged with one felony count each of unlawful sexual intercourse and oral copulation of a person under 18. Prosecutors said someone at the high school alerted authorities out of concern about the alleged interactions between Tinoco, who worked in the school's cafeteria, and a male student at the school.
