She was born in Paterson, N.J., and was a resident of Morristown, N.J., for 14 years before moving to Pocono Pines. She was a substitute teacher for the Morris School District and Pocono Mountain School District for more than 10 years.

    A Scranton man refused to pull over, tried fleeing from police and ended up hitting another vehicle Friday evening on Route 940 in Pocono Pines, state police said. Zekiah Ben Harsch, 22, then tried fleeing on foot after crashing his vehicle into another near Pocono Mountain West High School, police said.
