Susan Andrade-Wax, director of community services for the Alameda County city of Pleasanton since 2008, was chosen for the key management spot after a nationwide search, said San Rafael City Manager Jim Schutz. “Susan brings a mix of creativity, new ideas as well as a proven track record in the world of parks and recreation,” Schutz said in a written statement.
