    A man in Pleasant Plains, Illinois, is accused of kicking a small dog hard enough that the dog's eye popped out, a leg was badly broken and the dog's lungs and ribs were injured, reported Wednesday's State-Journal Register. The man accused of the abusive behavior has been identified as 20-year-old Jordan L. Watkins, who was arrested and booked into jail on Wednesday.
