    Firefighters from seven Guernsey County departments were dispatched to a pair of unrelated fire calls within a two-and-a-half hour span Thursday. Firefighters from the Lore City, Old Washington and Quaker City volunteer departments were dispatched at 11:01 a.m. to a fire in a building at a Leatherwood Road property while Byesville, Cambridge, Pleasant City and Senecaville firefighters were dispatched to a structure fire reported on Marietta Road at approximately 12:34 p.m. According to reports, a Leatherwood Road resident called the Guernsey County Sheriff's Office at 11:01 a.m. to report the storage building housing her dogs and chickens was on fire.
