    Police have reopened the southbound lanes of U.S. 131 near Plainwell following two separate crashes , authorities said Thursday afternoon. The highway, which was closed at Exit 49 just before 12:25 p.m., was reopened at about 3:55 p.m., according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
