    Led by another monthly increase in jobs in the Pittsfield metropolitan area, Berkshire unemployment dropped from 4.7 percent to 4.3 percent in July, according to figures released on Tuesday by the state Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development. The state unemployment rate is 4.0 percent, which is lower than the national rate of 5.1 percent.
