    A man brandishing a firearm in Concord led police officers on a chase Friday night that ended in Pittsburg when the suspect crashed into a car and tree. The pursuit began after Concord police officers responded at 9:39 p.m. to reports of a man with a firearm at Willow Pass Road and Sixth St. Police officers attempted a traffic stop but the 36-year-old Hayward resident fled onto Highway 4. Police officers assisted by the California Highway Patrol pursued the vehicle onto surface streets until the suspect collided with another vehicle and tree, according to a police report.
