    Sheriff's deputies are investigating a killing that took place this afternoon on state Highway 4 near San Marco Boulevard in Pittsburg, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office. The first report of the incident came in to the California Highway Patrol at 2:57 p.m., according to the CHP.
