    Carlos Gray, a Pinson Valley High School graduate and former player for NC State and the Green Bay Packers, was found shot to death in his home on Monday, April 30, 2018.( Pinson native and former Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Carlos Gray was shot to death Monday night in his east Jefferson County home. Gray, 25, was found shot to death at his Pinson home at 9:56 p.m., according to the Jefferson County Coroner's Office.

The Jefferson County Coroner's Office on Monday identified the victims as Joshua Franklin Wood, 23, Samuel Jeremy Kennedy, 41, and Richard Thomas Justice, 78. Wood was killed Saturday in western Jefferson County where he lived.

    The murder conviction of a 20-year-old Pinson man in the 2015 shotgun slayings of a Blount County couple will stand, Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall announced Tuesday. Paul Mason Trull in March 2017 was convicted on two counts of felony murder in the deaths of Gary "Sambo" Hazelrig and Breann Sherrer.
