    The route for the Tour of the Gila Criterium is back to its iconic shape now that the Hudson Street Bridge closure has been delayed, Jack Brennan, Tour of the Gila director, said on Monday. Courtesy Photo SILVER CITY >> Thanks to the state Department of Transportation postponing the closing of Hudson Street until May 5, the 29th annual Tour of the Gila will bring back its traditional race route when the bicyclists return to downtown Silver City for the criterium on May 2. "When we thought Highway 90 was going to be closed, we got with the city and devised an alternative route for the criterium," said Jack Brennan, race director.
