    After going over $50,000 in the red in 2014 and facing a very short season due to this year's extended school year, Mayor Tim Ellison said the town council voted not to open the facility for 2015 "With all of the above situations and the fact that pumps, chemicals, power bills, water bills, sewer bills have to be paid, water levels have to be maintained 24/7 during the season, and the decline in revenues are the reasons the Common Council voted not to open the pool this year. Receipts totaled $14,846, including $3,648 for daily admission, $4,357 for pool passes, $3,516 for concessions, $3,000 for pool parties, and $325 for swimming lessons.
