A passenger in the vehicle was transported to a local hospital with serious non-life threatening injuries. According to a media release, a witness observed a red 1999 Ford SUV traveling erratically about 3 a.m. June 22, as it headed southbound on U.S. 19. At some point, the SUV left the roadway, struck the west curb line, sending the vehicle in a southwest direction, reportedly rolling over before crashing into a vehicle signal sign at the southwest corner of U.S. 19 north and 70th Avenue.
