    Interstate 59 northbound near the eight mile marker is shut down as crews work to clear a single-vehicle accident involving an overturned 18-wheeler. According to a Facebook post from the Picayune Police Department, traffic is being diverted at exit 6 to Hwy 11. or Sycamore Rd. to West Union Rd. Traffic can get back on the interstate at exit 10. The Facebook post also said the 18-wheeler was not carrying hazardous cargo, and the driver only suffered minor injuries.
