The icing on the cake of a 55 yard drive, with only a second left on the clock in the 1st quarter was when Royals Anthony Knight cracked through the Crimson Wave defense at the 4 yard line for the Royals 1st touchdown.

Hopewell had a sloppy start against Petersburg in the 1st inning, squeaking by with one run and the defense missing pop-ups when Petersburg was at bat.
