    A Petersburg man on trial for his connection in the robbery and shooting of a Colonial Heights man behind the Goodwill store on the Boulevard was convicted of four felonies by a jury in Circuit Court on April 29. The jury found Wayne Jackson, 22, of Elm Street, guilty in the robbery of Johnny Seymour, along with the conspiracy to commit robbery, the use of a firearm in the commission of a robbery and the use of a firearm in the commission of aggravated malicious wounding. Jackson was acquitted on a charge of aggravated malicious wounding, and the jury recommended a combined total of 31 years imprisonment for the guilty verdicts.

After pleading guilty, Nicholas Colburne-Garrett was sentenced to 30 years of active imprisonment for a total of eight felonies including aggravated malicious wounding, robbery, attempted malicious wounding, grand larceny from a person, attempted robbery, the conspiracy to rob, and two counts of the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
