    Nov. 13--PERU -- A railroad company has agreed to stay in Peru and add 20 new jobs after the city and county approved a $500,000 forgivable loan to help offset the company's cost to move a new production line into a new facility. Jim Tidd, executive director of the Miami County Economic Development Authority, said Progress Rail notified his organization earlier this year that it was considering moving the new line to its Peru facility, located at 588 W. 7th Street.
