Troopers with the State Patrol say Wilbur Dickerson, of Perry, was parked on the shoulder of the road near J Avenue and K Trail shortly after 3 p.m. As he got out of his pickup truck, a vehicle driven by 20-year-old Saul Tallez, also of Perry, suddenly crossed over a lane and hit Dickerson, according to the crash report.
