Sheen buried there. Last Tuesday's decision overturned a 2016 order by state Supreme Court Justice Arlene P. Bluth that allowed Joan Sheen Cunningham, Archbishop Sheen's niece and closest living relative, to disinter the body for removal and transfer to a crypt located in St. Mary's Cathedral in Peoria, Illinois.
