    The motorcyclist who died in an accident Saturday afternoon in East Peoria has been identified as a Mackinaw resident. A motorcycle-SUV accident took the life of 37-year-old Trace L. Waters at 4:45 p.m Saturday, Tazewell County Coroner Jeff Baldi said in a news release Sunday.

    The Illinois House voted Wednesday to block a Rauner administration proposal that would disqualify thousands of disabled and elderly Illinoisans from in-home service programs. In a 74-13-12 vote, the House approved a measure that keeps in place the minimum eligibility requirements, or "Determination of Need" score, for programs such as the Home Services Program and the Community Care Program.
