    A car with a loud modified exhaust prompted mistaken reports of gunfire in three Slate Belt communities Sunday evening, police said. Slate Belt Regional Police Officer Matt Messinger said there were at least three 911 calls about gunfire in bursts of three or four shots, possibly from an automatic weapon, between 8 and 9 p.m. Sunday.

Police said Hall and a woman, whose name was not released, were involved in a domestic dispute Friday night at Hall's home on Williams Street.
