    The Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries says a man is dead following a boating accident in the West Pearl River. According to officials, the body of 33-year-old Chad Panks of Pearl River was recovered by the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office Marine Division Friday around 9 p.m. Family members told sheriff's deputies that Panks and his dog was traveling to his houseboat around 2 a.m. Friday.
