    New Jersey has become the first state to regulate its drinking water for a man-made, toxic chemical compound once used in making nonstick cookware and now linked to a variety of health problems. A new Department of Environmental Protection rule will cap the amount of compounds known as PFNAs, short for perfluorononanoic acid.

    Police on Sunday were searching for a suspect in the weekend shooting death of a 21-year-old man in Paulsboro. Responding to a call about a shooting, police found Davontae Randall at 6:45 p.m. Saturday at 205 W. Buck St. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital, and an autopsy determined that he died of multiple gunshot wounds, according to a statement from the Gloucester County Prosecutor's Office.
