    PAULDING Paulding Exempted Village School Board approved a two-year administrative contract for Greg Puthoff as Paulding's Elementary principal, effective Aug. 2, during the PEVS meeting held on April 18. Puthoff will be replacing Stephanie Tear, who ended her employment after coming to an agreement with the board on Feb. 14. Pat Ross is serving as interim principal for the remainder of the 2017-18 school year. In addition to serving in the role of superintendent for the last nine years, Puthoff will bring with him over 30 years of experience as an educator.

    PAULDING A three-vehicle crash last week at the intersection of U.S. 127 and Gasser Road in Paulding ended its route in the parking lot in front of the Rite Aid store. According to Paulding Police Department, Emily K. Tondreau, 32, of Paulding, was driving a 2002 Ford Econoline E150 northbound on North Williams Street following other vehicles and approaching the traffic light at Gasser Road.

    PAULDING A potentially dangerous situation was averted last week when a car careened through the Rite Aid parking lot and crashed into the side of the building, striking a cage of propane tanks. The incident occurred at 8:53 a.m. Wednesday, March 29. According to Paulding Police, Pamela J. Chadwick, 65, Paulding, was driving a 2013 Nissan Rogue when she exited the parking lot on the north side of Maramart and planned to cross North Williams Street and drive into the Rite Aid parking lot.
